Wow, Mr. Steele, your car is looking awfully classy...maybe a taste too rich for some us folk! Seriously, that tan and what I assume is sort of ivory on the top's headliner really looks terrifical!
I'll bet you are chomping at the bit to get it... actually it looks like the sort of car that would take you to afternoon of sport-horsing around, and later to a garden party!
Cheerio!

Paul, I agree with you... that build speaks of performance and class... I really like the way it is coming out. It reminds me of Brian P's 911 Roadster, another beauty, but with red interior. I think Bill has a few final details that will really make it shine more. That luggage rack is beautiful. If you zoom in you can see the bends and joints..... flawless.
There was a comment along with the rack's picture about lowering it down some... Good idea, but as I recal, the stand-off 'tubes were afixed to the rack... grind wheels agin sumpthin' so pretty? Ouch!

Maybe with the rack tall as designed, air gets underneath and into the engine bay if'n there's actuall luggage strapped on (like a twelve pack or two)

...God is in the details... don't know where that came from, but it felt right for a sunny Sunday morning! You guys in the midst of new builds are enjoying the refinement details to the max, I'm soo jealous!
Thanks Pat!

Found them under newest files, wsteele. Just BEAUTIFUL ! !

In the interior shot showing the fabulous sun visors, you can see the most elegant little interior foot well lamp against the passenger's side wall carpeting. What a wonderful touch . . . it's like the car that Porsche SHOULD have made.

Oh, and Paul . . . it's "the devil's in the details." The origin of that phrase is VERY interesting indeed and has to do directly with the founding Father's of our great naton . . . although I always invert it to the way that you put it as well. It now seems to make more sense that way. The older i get, the less devilish I become.

:)

That is truly a beautiful interior! I'd prefer that over my red interior any day. The red is a bit garish while that tan is just plain elegant.

Those visors...are they $200plus each or for the pair? NLA website does not seem to indicate.

The top headliner is finished to a much finer degree than the one on my car. Some day I'll have to replace it and go with something like that..
