The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is this weekend. This is a great venue, run in historic Schenley Park, public roads. Great variety of rare vintage cars. Great for spectators on golf course inside the park. Plently of parking space and various marque shows, and it is free. Featured margue this year is MG.

One of these days/years -- I missed this race again this year.

Ran my old '56 A coupe on those exact roads many years ago.  Would love to do it again in my Speedster.  Actually, I asked the PVGP if I could and was politely told no -- no replicars, please, in such a vintage race.  But do please come anyway, and show it off on one of the several show fields, they said.  If we could get a bunch together, we could storm the show -- show 'em what the Madness is all about.  On the other hand, if I go back to the U for reunion in October, and come out at around 3:00 in the morning on a Sunday, I bet I could clock a few good laps . . .
