Schu, great weather low humidity, not too hot, sure beats some previous years where it was absolutely blistering. A real fine showing of Jaguar ' especially E-types.

I've always loved the E types. Could never afford a good one but now somehow a slightly beat up Speedster seems to fit my psyche better.....  I don't think I'd feel good in any Jag unless it was a bit beat up too. Odd I guess, but I sure don't miss those SU's.

Nicely enough, today an old, maybe mid '60's Jag Saloon came sailing towards me...slipped by and didn't make a sound. Nice to see.

While trolling for business, I often pass a place about 20 km from home and pass a resto business / yard that specializes in mostly significant older British cars...Jags, Healeys etc. and he's got a really nice Mid '50's Mercedes Saloon type sedan available. He's quite open minded and thought my Speedster was cool with the Soob Conversion.

Hey Stroud maybe you could come down for the Lime Rock Historics? Since we missed you at Carlisle? And it's closer. . . not that that matters to you I guess.

That would be real nice, Ed and I'd sure like to. Can't do it though because while my boat's still in the water, I've got the interior and some outer rear walls ripped out for a total reno and reconfiguration. Gotta plow on with that while the weather is good. Haven't driven the Speedster in two weeks...sheesh !
