I think MUSBJIM  has a real nice layout for hauling his Speedster behind the Land Cruiser when needed.

My setup was effective for a one off excursion from Canada to Flagler Beach, Fl. and remains in the basement of our house in case of some emergency.  My rear light rack got stuffed down behind the rear bumpers and the body, possibly held down with rubber pads and Velcro etc and worked well.

It was a slimy night of wet snow in and around Ogdensburg, Ny  around 5 am about Feb 01, 2011 when I pulled off 37 to get onto I 81 South. The truck was pulling to the right a bit at the rear end in the curved ramp and when I looked back, my Speedster was trying pass me on the right. Wakey, wakey, me.

The weather got better around Martinsburg, Md

Lane, thank you very much for putting this thing together. Perhaps a fall schedule may be best for an event like this? I for one appreciate everything you have done to try and make it happen.

"lack of interest"???...Lane, please don't despair. 

The initial 'birthing' of a scheduled event such as this usually generates a lack luster wait and see response...Enthusiasm picks up after positive reports, photos, videos, and the publicity, from participants for the next (second) scheduled event.  

Bear in mind how much smaller than Carlisle are the West Coast events...how much cozier and intimate with everyone warming their feet around an outdoor fire pit!  

Maybe I'll try one in the fall sometime, but I'm not batting very well there, either.

OK, Lane, you're bummed, and I am too.  Was really making plans for this.  I have been getting the tow bar thing worked out, and so forth.  But, as explained prior, my son has made other plans for me this week end, and I'm out.  But I am going to have a really cool towing package, however.  Even if it's just you and Jack, I'd say carry on, MGM.  Enjoy.

On to Carlisle!

Jack cancelled when it got down to just a few of us.  It's a loooong drive for him and completely understandable.  I have a couple of ideas I want to explore for perhaps later in the year.
