September it is?? Set the date and schedule the Hilton as last year! We have driven the Blue Ridge Parkway South to North To Mount Mitchell. This year I recommend we go South on the Parkway to Mount Pisgah Inn. for a late lunch. The southern route is a bit higher in places than the northern route. Great views and fuel at the small grocery/station. Anyone have additional ideas?

I'll set the date up at the Hilton as soon as I get a good idea of how many rooms we'll need. 10-11 SEP it appears to be.

When do we need to get together? Last year you'll complained that it was too cold! ;~) I believe it was April!

I would love to do another Smoky Mountain Spring Fling, but I doubt that my budget or schedule will support one this year. I'll look into it.

Yeah Jack,.....Alice and Margaret will have a field day, as the hotel is located smack in the middle of a mid to high end shopping mall...(for lack of a better description) Com'on over, you won't be disappointed... ;- )

Pretty sure Jack is out of town. He posted something about France a while back. I assume he would be interested. Sandy and I are more than likley in. Just gotta work out a few things.

Spring Fling will be scheduled as soon Merlot is finished. Please let me know who would like to be included. We have Maples blooming now! But, the horse sugar hasn't started. I would like to show attendees the drives around the Hickory Nut Gorge area. I thing you will be amazed at some of the roads like Green River and Hobart Cove just to name a few.

Please do count Alice and I in if it's mid-Sept. We just got home 30 mins ago after leaving Papeete, Tahili last evening at 10 PM--took 24 hours to get home. Not a single Speedster sighted down there either.

I think Russ would also attend in his 911 which a friend gave him for his birthday at Carlisle last year. Wish I had a friend like that!

No kidding! I'll bet there's a story in there somewhere.

Absolutely! I'll add you and your better half to the list. We had two real Porsches with us last year, but we accepted them just as we did a certain Toyota truck ;-) (Note: One of the "real" Porsches didn't make the Biltmore tour)
