Good question...the road warriors from up north should be in at a decent hour Friday, at least those of us with a Friday night in LA reservation. Some of the troops were camping outside of town waiting on the dawn for their ride in...

A few of us early worms are arriving on Thursday and are planning to use part of Friday to get the trail dust off our cars. I think a informal dinner and whatever follows sounds like a primo idea. I'm thinking that we can reach some sort of informal plan sometime Friday. There are a number of resturants close by, close enough that we should be able to leave our cars at the Courtyard and walk. There is a Outback, a Claimjumper, and a couple of others close to the hotel. Dale Bates has been there for the show and probably has some good advice for a watering hole/dinner place. Maybe some of the SoCal guys will want to meet us on Friday afternoon to join the fun. Lets talk it up on this thread and when we reach an agreeable time and place we will post it here. After dinner I am sure some parking lot sessions will occur!
Getting close aren't we? Washed my car yesterday and it is standing tall, all ready to get encrusted with bug and road grime. Car is definatly faster after a nice wash job.

The Courtyard just called reminding me that our special rates expire on April 1. She said we had a few rooms left at the cheaper rate on Thursday and Friday and I think she said she had one left for Saturday night. I also asked her about the bucket and hoses and she said no problem if she gets to ride in a Speedy. She sounded nice, volunteers?
Seriously, if some are on the fence about going to the show, the room rates do run out in a few days and then they will be a little pricier.
