THE WHEELS DON'T MATTER WHAT'S THE ENGINE?

could be a radically-bored-out 283 (301...dangerous; period correct) or

legit DZ 302 chebby (which he would've mentioned) or

a 2-bolt iron-crank 307 (my guess) or

a 1980s-era 305.

All could reasonably be called "5-liter" but each would be a very different thing, depending on the heads...

Car should have early Power-Pack heads. 1.72 intakes, 1.5 exhausts, 62cc chambers. Them's getting hard to find... They'd work pretty right on any of those blocks but really should be on a 283, 302 or 307, where the wide bore size would keep the valves relatively unshrouded.

Gotta love old Chevrolets.

Is that how they hotrod in Canada?

Not really, Bill. The vehicle is located in Val-des-Monts and that's in Quebec and therefore could easily explain some things you might not understand.....

Or we could say there's the odd idiot  person up here who has no idea, just like on your side of the border...
