I have an original Plasticon Hardtop that I will never use. I bought it 4 or so years back, thinking I needed it. In Dallas, no way. These things are rare, so try to find another one. I bought it when I saw it. Paid $750, plus shipping. It is an original, which was produced as an aftermarket accessory for the original Speedster. Yes, it does fit on both my CMCs, which have the windshields mounted about an inch and a half forward compared to the originals. It has the windshield clips, but you will need to add clips that bolt in where your convertible top bolt goes in. I was going to use the Jeep hood bungies, mounted internally. They were a good fit. You will also need to use 1/8 inch plexiglass, cutting it to the rear window and using the bead locking window trim. I had bought it, but we used it on our 58 5 window chevy. The paint finish is good, I did it when I refinished the car. The original foan headliner is still in it. It had a tan fabric headliner 3-M glued to the original white. I wanted black so I pulled that one out. It does have some chips in the drip rail. Rather than take the time to rebuild those, I was just going to use the trim edging you buy at interior and trim detail shops. You can see that I was going with silver. They have these trims in all the popular colors, as well as chrome and black. That, or if you were not in a hurry, you could easily build it up with fiberglass and resin. Or, as my brother wanted to do, just trim it off with a dremel. I chose to keep it as a Speedster leaks enough. You can write me for questions. I would prefer to sell it here. Make me an offer. I will build a light weight crate to ship it. I have pics, which I will email. I thought I coud add them here??? Will probably figure that out. Jack
