Alan - BWAAAAAA...that's a good one!
I started off with "Speedy" but thougt it was a bit too cute for my taste. Now I have an Arkansas antique plate because the VIN on my pan allows an antique plate. Bonus; I never have to renew it so there's no ammual registration fee.
I somewhat like this idea, but won't do it until they would allow me to have a different version for the front plate...FRNTPORCH...nine characters, I'm sure, is asking a little too of the DMV and penal system.

How about IMPALED...by the madness.
At first I had a special plate on my VS that said "SPEEDIE" which seemed like a good idea at first, but it was a bit too cute for me.
Now I have an Arkansas "antique" car tag which I like so much better. The vin on my pan makes this possible. Plus, in this state you never have to renew your registration and pay the fee annually. The antique tag has no expiration date! Next year my BMW R-80 bike will be 25 years old and eligible for an antique tag and I'll do the same thing to save that annual fee.
