I need to quiet her down ! My Tub - not my Bride. Just looking for a muffler system that will take a little " Roor" off the top end. I'm running a 1835cc with dual webers and a Quiet Tuck exhaust that I purchased from JPS. Any suggestions for a modified exhaust that will help to quiet those higher RPM's. I know this seems like an anti-speedteresque desire, but wish we could keep her a little quieter. We Love the Tub in every other way.

Thanks, Brad

Brad,

My Tub was deafening also and I could not stand the freeway noise either.

What I did was get a German muffler that cost $150.00 and it was amazing how much better it was.

I have a 1776cc so your engine is a little larger but it should still be ok. In my case it was well worth it. The only thing I miss is setting off the car alarms.

Cheers
Dave
Yep the stock German muffler with pea shooters.

I went to the Dana Pt Porsche Concourse last summer and saw all the small diameter mufflers, heard them putt putting around and got the bright idea to go with stock. I have noticed no difference in power on my modest mill. In fact it seems to run better but that is just my impression no facts.

Dave
