OK, so if you're not into the three-wheeler, maybe you'd like an Ariel Atom.  I rode in one, once (once was enough, for me) and they are slightly beyond completely insane, but Oh, MY GOD!  Do they ever MOVE!  1,300 lbs. and optional V8 power, with some HUGE brakes.  A friend of mine wants to get one.  I refuse to ride with him (he's already totaled a couple of 'Vettes).

My old neighbor had an Atom and I've seen it in action but never road in one. My 2110 fed Speedster is enough for me

Rode motorcycles for 43 years before a bad spill a few years back.  So I'm kind of used to feeling small on the road.  Friend of mine has a sling shot.  Very nimble and low to the ground.  In VA its licensed as a motorcycle so helmets are mandatory.  Fastest most nimble car I have ever own was a Caterham Super 7 I had 10 years ago.  210 hp 2.1L Zetec with Kent Cams fuel injection and 4 throttle bodies.  Butt sits 4 inches off the ground.  5 speed with the best shifter I have ever experienced.  Very fast and very nimble.  I could spin tires in the first 3 gears.  I always say that my spyders would drive circles around my 356.  But that Caterham would leave just about anything in its dust, except maybe an Atom.  Too bad the Caterham is so ugly.  Think I'd rather give up some performance and have something like a spyder which is such a pleasure to look at.

My neighbor has red '15 Slingshot.  It is quick - but the 20" single rear tire quickly spins. The front is very wide (fills garage so you can't get around). Has 4 cylinder Chevy EcoTec 4 cylinder and 5 speed manual.  $26k for his delux version.  I've driven it several times - SEG.  You'd think it would have some heat in cockpit (cool days would be nice) or at least a blower for air flow (for hot days).  No weather protection at all - a place in Tampa had hard tops available.  FL has optional helmets - if one thinks their hard head will suffice.
