I have a vage memory of puttng the car in 4th gear,turnning on the on switch and rolling it forward. This after some guy told me the right way to do it and I forgot. So here I am again and I still can't remember. By the way for all you guys that helped me along onthis starte deal. Here's the low down. I took the starter out and the generator cause it was running so hot. To them to the"MAN". Turns out the generator was blown and the battery would not hold a charge. The good side was the starter checked out OK. Of coarse that was with no resistense. Anyway here I am again. Got the starter back in. Am putting in the generator and I remember something about polarization, even though I can't spell it. Any body got any hints? Take care, b.
