A while back I posted some pictures of a foot peg I made for my VS to put my left foot on. It seemed to generate some interest and some of you asked me if I might make some more. Well....I did ! I'm finishing up with the drilling and tapping this weekend so I can take them to a polisher on Monday. I made 25 of them. They are just like the one in the photos I posted before. Once i get them back from the Polisher and assemble them I will post more photo's. I wrote down a list of those of you who were interested in getting one so if you know who your are, please reassure me. I don't have an exact price yet until I know what the polisher charges me. Shipping. I thought i would use the USPS flat rate small box so the price for that would be quotable anywhere in the US. Collection: I was thinking of Pay Pal and USPS money orders. Your suggestions on all of the above would be of value to me as I have never done anything like this before.

Since I retired, making stuff in my Garage is how I keep from getting over-run by my hyper active mind. Susan says I'm "nuts"!

To give you a little snapshot of what's in my millrace brain these days, here's a short list of things I have made or will be soon. All for our speedsters too.

First of course are the Foot Pegs, detachable wind wings (some of you have already seen the prototype), detachable Sun Visors (some of you have already seen these as well), escutcheon for center windshield support at the dashboard location, inside door pulls in polished aluminum or bronze with a decorative provision to attach a VS or Beck or Porsche etc.hood crest. (these will be ready for the foundry to pour them next week), and finally, a really beautiful Oak framed under-dash package tray with real wicker "hex" pattern screening in the center field.

So life is good....I'm happy because I'm busy doing stuff I really want to do (as opposed to when I had to work and had to do stuff I really wasn't interested in doing).   Later I'd like to get a little web site up with all my little creations displayed. I'm basically computer illiterate and would appreciate any help from one of you on who-how-what to do to get that part done.

Let me know what you think/feel or whatever.......Bruce
