Polishers

Anyone have a Griot's orbital polisher? Worth the money? Is it the same thing as the Porter Cable with Griot's label, or did Griot really develop his own design?

I have both Griots polishers and they have performed well for me. Their store is just up the road from me and I am in danger of becoming a wax junkie!

I'm addicted to their catalog. Ah well, yet another vice to deal with.

Has anyone had any experience with the Meguiars G110 polisher?

I got a 10" orbital at Sam's club years back - no idea who makes it, it cost about #35 bucks and it's decent for what I need it for (mostly for waxing the truck twice a year - it's a big truck...)

I also have a 6" Black and Decker orbital that my wife got for something and never used it since - I use that on the Speedster as it gets into smaller spaces (and isn't quite as radical as the Sam's club moose).

Wax on, Wax off......

I use a Makita 9227C. A bit cheaper to buy than a DeWalt. My son uses a Griot.

The wife loves Griot's products. She even took up detailing her own car, freeing me up from a quarterly wax job. Speed Shine works great, as does there interior cleaner. I use Mothers Products, more of a "cleaner wax" type of guy.
