I’m thinking of selling my 2013 VS. Has the rising price of new builds elevated the price of decent used? I’ve got 970 kilometers or about 600 miles on it now. Has a new Mike Gagnier transaxle with rhino case, 3.44 Weddle gears and new Weddle axles. 2110 CB Performance engine, 44 Weber’s, high flow heat exchangers and custom A1 header with Sebring tip. Dynoed at 150 hp. No leaks. Umbrella handle e. brake and 61 pan so heater has knob like the real Speedster and everything works including the backup light. Alloy wide 5s on it now, spare set of steels come with it, also 1/4 and full tonneau covers and side curtains all new and never mounted. This car is completely sorted and is ready to drive to the coast. Really goes on the freeway with the 3.44 gears. Needs nothing, get in it and drive. 55 Porsche Azure Blue and tan interior. Many more photos but had a hard time posting them. Thinking $36,000, I’ve got way more in it. Engine and transaxle alone were $12,500. Thanks, Frank 402-393-5252.

I personally think it’s worth more then what you are asking for. Your asking price is a steal... I’m no expert though :-/
Beautiful Speedster. Wishing you the best of luck with the sale.
Really nice Speedster! Should sell fast!
Very nice and a good mix of power and tranny. 2110cc and 3:44 is a real highway cruiser IMO. 70mph at around 3k rpm which is awesome. GLWTS
This one's got it all.
Beautifully detailed car. Basically brand new. Good luck, it should sell pretty quickly.
Thanks a lot guys. It’s kind of hard around here, I think I have the only Speedster in Nebraska. There is nothing like it when I go to the cruise nights. In a way it’s nice but I’m not the kind of guy that likes to stick out in the crowd so I’m going to sell it. I really don’t want to because I finally have it working the way I want it to but 7 cars are too many.
Well 7, it is just a beginning your only starting to be noticed by the DMV. I mean once you get your name on at least 10 DMV documents they take notice.
In PA I had a DMV a long vehicle purchase list in their system... if someone were to hit the Print Key it would look like a Town Crier's Scroll. Only one time did a little old bitty lady stick her nose in the air stating " Oh my , you have bought quite a few vehicles, hmmmm " Me: "Yeah I title and pay tax on each and every one".
We are OK here if you don’t sell too many in a year. There is a little known loophole in the law that if you don’t pay the sales tax or license a car for 5 years and one day, the tax drops off.
Frank....I think you should ask $40K and negotiate down if needed. You have a really nice clean NEW car. I also know that you are very meticulous when it comes to cars you have and that tells me it's well sourced.
Anyone who buys this car will be getting a top notch machine in both performance and appearance !
Franks car was the one built just before Kirk built my red Speedster.
Beautiful car. Best of luck with the sale.
Frank......You gonna build a Spyder next when you sell the Speedster ? My neighbor here in Loreto Baja Mex. is in the Junkyard business in KC Mo. He's looking at your car.
Bruce
Is he looking at it with the possibility of putting it in the yard to part out?? LOL
I don't know the market but my JPS Coupe sold in two days for what I paid for it in 2013......
there were five eager buyers and two of them were willing to drive through about 8" of snow to see it even though I told them not to try it and that they would not be able to drive the car …….obviously I left some money on the table.
I will miss that car.....
I usually go through project cars like socks. This Coupe is different. Two years later and I am still peaking in the garage, making sure it is real ( Technically it isn’t !). There is still a tug towards a 912 or 911 R Gruppe style that keeps rearing it’s ugly head and I have this little tidbit to dwell on: The week after I bought my car, there was an 83’ Targa w/ 89k miles listed for $12k in my old neighborhood not far away. I was broke by then. I have to keep telling myself it was prolly a fraud or had sold right away. What brings it backdown for me too is the maintenance and replacement costs that car would have rung up. In the end, I know this Coupe is the best thing for me. I have to incorporate those things I like and make them work for this particular car (R Gruppe, Kaege, Singer, etc,.) . And oh yah, it is fairly easy to work on too! Hopefully you find something to replace the void and not feel just the regret.

he has 6 other cars to fill the void...
The car is still available. I should change the title to “For Sale”. I have all documentation on everything done to the car and for all parts.
What a beautiful car. Wish I had deeper pockets.
Sold, Sold, Sold! Thanks so much to the forum.
