If you have POR 15 on the underside, and you are putting the sound deadener on the inside - call it done. At that point, you won't really gain very much add'l sound insulation and the metal is protected. Even the rocks that hit the bottom will have most of the tin noise battened out with the sound insulation on the inside.

Unless you just want to go totally nuts. Then put the bedliner on both sides AND the sound deadener. You know, like nuking it from orbit - the only way to be sure.

putting on POR15 on the underside of a fiberglass car is not worth the $$.

i painted mine gloss black marine enamel (waaaaay cheaper).

for sound deadener - you can get that foil-backed buytl (sp=?) they use on flat roofs. check TheSamba.com for reviews / install photos.

the bay window forum has lots of great ideas as these guys (and girls) camp in their vans.
Urr aa If you find your car in a gravel driveway . and it chips the underside ..We warnned ya.. I uses a good urethane epoxy bed liner coating on both the pan and the underside glasswork.. and it looks more like Factory VW when put on with a 2" roller

It (WILL) give you extra protection.. if you stay away from Gravel your fine But out in the boonie? (Like where i live) I DO recemend it
