I've seen those guys selling their parts at the Pomona swapmeet. They also carry the 911-style fan conversion kits. My only comment is the pan certainly gets down really low, but once you put a car body on it (Beetle or Speedster) it'll never get that low again since the body will hit the ground first.
Hmmn, wonder if they tested theirs??????? Hmmn.
