Looks to me like somebody already jumped on it - right in the middle. Looks kinda squashed.
That is a sad imitation of a 917. A real 917 is a beautiful vehicle.

Exactly Christian! The first thing I thought of is Purple Bat-mobile. 
They were ugly when they came out and time (and the nostalgia factor) haven't helped; they should all be put out of their misery...
If it were painted the right color it would be a cool replica -- 3L Subbie and 5 spd.
Silver or the Steve McQueen LeMans Gulf colors would make it a totally different ride.
