I just read that Porsche is introducing at dealers

Probably going to cost $20.00 a quart.
I have seen full page ads in 356 Registry and Panorama for these oils. No price given, of course.
$26.50. Any bets?
...and it is forbidden to run in a replica. Period.
Yeah, I think you need to show PCCA or 356 reg membership credentials to buy it.
A small Porsche or PCA tattoo, veddy tastefully done, and in a veddy circumspect place, of course, can be used to show sufficient commitment to the marque to buy a veddy tiny amount of oil with your platinum card.
My card's tapped out. By a veddy amount.

I like that Rich; another genuine P product we don't need...
That Porsche oil is going to make my aircooled Fiero, that I just purchased, run like a Porsche. Also, while I'm cruising down the highway, I can sneak quick glances at my genuine 356 leather key chain fob that I got for steal.
Only $12 a liter? That's like half price!
$12 for a quart isn't that bad. It will probably be $15-$17 @ quart in Canada.
Its probably brad penn repackaged.
…or re-cycled Slick 50!
Are they relabeling brad penn ?
there isn't another oil on the market better for your air-cooled engine than Brad Penn.
about 30-40% of my customers purchase it from me for their porsche
What about Joe Gibbs DT-50?
Gibbs does not own the oil products. It was sold and their using the name.
i have customers who race and build stock car/sprint car engines that switched to brad penn from gibbs oil. It really comes down to what ever works for your application and does not cause you a mechanical failure due to premature wear.
Good info...thanks Anthony!
Tony!
Good to see you posting here.
Guys, Tony is a great resource for all things acvw. He has taught me pretty much everything I know as well as fixed everything I don't. Supplier of hard to find parts, Brad Penn oil, Berg five speeds. Knoweldgeable mechanic and all-around good guy.
I'm lucky to call him my friend and have him in my neighborhood.
Thanks Terry!
give Mitch a call. He picked his car up today with the new motor and tranny.
