Porsche Emblem

Which Porsche emblem is the correct size for the front, the 8.5" or 10"?

I just measured the front Porsche emblem on my IM and it is 8-1/2" long.

I thought it was 8.5 also, but http://www.klasse356.com lists it as a 10" one.....gold or silver?

My emblem is gold and just remeasured it at 8" even. It is an older emblem installed somewhere between 82'to 92'

I have a front photo of James Dean, washing his Speedster. I measured the front PORSHCE script emblem. It's the same distance as the head light rim diameter; which checks out to be very close to 8.5" Thanks for your help.
I met a Speedster owner, here in Tucson. He had actually glued on all his emblems. I feel for the person that has to paint the car in the future.
