Porsche emblems

Being new to the site and a future owner of a 2003 Beck, and--- not knowing how to get to the archive files, Can anyone help with information regarding California vehicle registration (I would like to register the car as a 1955 Porsche and use a set of 1956 Calif. plates I own. In addition, I would like to affix the Porsche crest and script. Can anyone help?

I'll email you something I put together regarding CA registration. Please ask any other questions as you'll probably have some.

On the Porsche crests and scripts you should get them from Dario Calandra (DMAN) dman550@shaw.ca www.550spyderproducts.com. His products are really great, correct size, etc.

After 3 totally ignored e-mails to this guy Dario, I finally gave up o him. I figure that if I have to chase someone to spend my money, they don't deserve it. Fortunately for me, I found Russ Rodriguez of Fibersteel. Russ took care of my emblem needs and provided me with some real insight regarding the players in this game. Dario is a great guy...don't rush to judgement too fast please. He makes some great products for us spyder folks...check out his website. With both Dario and Russ looking out for our interests we are lucky.

Mike, I haven't rushed to judgement, I was just frustrated as he had not responded.

Incidentally, I ended up purchasing a set of Dario's Porsche 4 cam valve covers and air cleaner tops. Both items are great.
