I have the standard porsche script for the front and back of my speedster and am wondering if anyone has forgone drilling and instead shaved the back prongs off and attempted to glue the lettering down with adhesive or some sort of emblem glue? Success or not? I started to do it but it proved difficult and difficult to get script to adhere to car.

Darryl, I screwed up when I was sanding the inside of my car's body to get the excess fiberglass off. My pins (rear lettering only) are sanded to the thickness of the body, but the scripts are coming off in the next month or so.
If you have a nice rear script, but wind up wanting to sand those prongs off, let me know -- mine are in great shape otherwise, and I'd love to trade.
