I'd go if I still lived in Harrisburg, Pa area. Sounds like a good way to spend a spring Saturday, better than the honey-do list. Let the right seaters tour the Hershey facility while you drool.

This a pretty good sized event.There was excellent weather last year. Coinciding with this meet the local VW club has there meet a few miles east in Cambelltown (Volksfest). I split the day between both meets and even got a 2nd place plaque for kit cars at the Volksfest.

Bill, lived 1 year in Carlisle then for 6 years in Mechanicsburg. Went to the Kit Car/Foreign Car Show every year. Also ran the autocrosses at the Farm Show complex quite a few times. Moved to the Kitty Hawk area 8 years ago. Love it here, except no nice twisty country roads for the speedster.

Jeff, you're in the right part of the country so that a road trip to "ride the dragon" should be in your sights. While mostly a haven for motorcyclists, other tourists and sports car guys do the run also. Greg Teeple and I did a short piece of it last year until an accident scene caused us to turn back and take another route; I'm hoping for a rematch later this year. Also, I plan to participate with the Allard club on a run, weather permitting (all open cars) in October.

I'll be there. Been thinking about buying an original coupe...maybe dabble in some rust prevention. Anybody know of a good one for sale? Outlaw preferred.

I have been thinking about the same thing an outlaw A body 356 Coupe or an early 912. Sounds like a road trip to Hershey is in order.

Unfortunately, the PA PCA guys doesn't like replicas but I'm planning to attend (without Speedster). If anyone is attending maybe we can meet for a burger or dinner.

What time are you guys planning to arrive?
I may be down. Been under the weather lately and might not be good to be out in the rain. I still have to pull that motor and tomorrow may be the day. This year the Volksfest, which is held down the road, is scheduled for next Sat. It was tough doing two shows the same day.

The gates open at 7:30 and I hope to get there not too long after that. Should be there at least through lunch - longer if it doesn't rain too hard and there's plenty to see.
