Did you check out the Porsche 911 Love seat! Someone ought to pull a rear 356 Speedster mold and make 356 love seats!

Wolfgang,
Do you really think there would be a market for a 356 loveseat? I am getting ready to pour a rear section of a widebody for a pull-behind trailer for my CMC. I was hoping to have it done in time for Carlisle, but once again, that ain't gonna happen. Looks like there is not enough time in the day to fix all the problems to make the car reliable enough for a 2000 mile round-trip.

Not sure about the 356 love seat, but I saw a 356 front end (complete with lights)wall hanging about 15 years ago and really lit up the room. Cut off at the front of the wheel well, looked cool.
Check this but can't recall wth I got the pic from ...a touch of "old-timers" I guess :(

I wonder if you need a wiper on the desk since you go "BRRRRRR" all day...
Jim A - Put it on the AutoTrain --- from Jacksonville to Lorton VA (just 8 miles south of me). Would cut 10+ hours off the drive! Splash an extra rear clip - wife would love it in the Family room! Auto train not exactly cheap - but saves some wear and tear.
Have you seen those tear drop aluminum trailers that were used in early '50. They are simple to make and fit the cheap utility trailer frames.

Considered a teardrop trailer, but thought a rear section of a widebody painted to match the car would be nicer. Seems to be a workable project. Just have to prep the rear half of the mold from the door back and create a panel to fit over the rear seat area. Should have a finished product in a couple of weeks.
I am currently finishing up a fiberglass dune buggy and hopefully sell it quick to finance a type IV motor for the speedster. If this happens, then Carlisle might actually happen for me this year.

A fellow at Carlisle last year had a trailor that he made by splashing the front and rear of his widebody speedster and then mating the parts together. It really looked nice. Here's a pic of the front view. I don't know if I have one of the rear or not.
