I LOVE it! Brilliant deal for somebody -- and you absolutely should drive that primer around a while!
I would enjoy that as is. Not everyone is into polish and perfection..
Sorry guys, I was thinking back to when I sold El Diablo to Alan, I guess I really got ripped off...
There was a great replica not long ago- I think on the samba - located in the Netherlands with a pre-a dash. It was faux painted to look like a rusty barn find. Very cool. Anyone else see it? I can't find it now.

Hotrodstitcher - I'm guessing that you do auto upholstery? Did you do the seats? I'm really diggin' 'em.

Sid,
I've heard and read your name many times, it's great to have a legend in our midst. Good luck selling the car.

Uber cool car; I'd just switch the exhaust system and it'd look mean...
I would sorta think about selling you my red custom IM with the gray interior but it would cost you dearly for me to part with it.
History:
I saw this custom build IM( unique mild flares added ) 20 years ago at a car show in Manassas, VA, I came across it 9-10 years later in the same town I now live in,( owner owns a high end street rod upholstery shop) It took another 5 years to get the owner to sell it to me even with the poor running motor ( mice nests, ran hot end of motor) I stuffed a new motor in it then sold the car to a woman in VA .
2-3 years later it sold and went to Fla. and I bought it back out of Fla. a couple of months ago and still looks as nice as the day it was completed.
