Hi you all people, I checked the Speed channel schedule on sunday and they are going to replay all the series of the TV Show Victry by Design, with the porsche history and some shots of spyders, also Jaguar, Ferrari, Aston Martin and others, I think that the series start at 1 p.m. so get ready your VCR

Vicki...The crossword Luis Aparicio would be the Baseball Hall of Fame shortstop for the Chicago White Sox, who is about 70 years old. If this Luis is THAT Luis then we have a very, very famous man posting here (and one helluva shortstop!)...

I am sorry but I am not that Luis I knew once that great player about 4 years ago, I am 29 years old and I used to watch baseball, my favorite teams are the NY Mets by the way, now I practice rock climbing, any of you have tried it ?....

Well, actually guys, as foreign as this might seem, I actually knew the crossword clue PLUS knew it wasn't our Luis on SpyderOwners PLUS knew where he played and what position. I grew up watching sports (never liked boxing though). Does anyone remember the Gillette fights every Friday night?? Can anyone hum that tune?? v v

After 57 years of an overstimulated life, my brain is packed with what Bob Dylan referred to in "Tombstone Blues" as "useless and pointless information." Sometimes someone writes or says something and without warning, a random neuron in my brain fires and I start spewing facts like an out of control database printer...and then my wife says, "Where the hell did THAT come from?"

I have seen the Speed Channel program and like it. I bought the DVD and like it because it lasts for about 113 minutes, the Speed Channel version has only about 35 - 40 minutes of time sandwiched between mega-commercials. I would strongly recommend getting the DVD because it gives a nice overview of the Porsche company, both in racing and street cars.

Terry--I think you'll find that I'm pretty easy going and my feelings aren't hurt easily. I also don't hold grudges. AND, I drive a 550 Spyder! So, I guess you'd say, I'm the perfect woman. ha
But thanks for apologizing. One thing I DON'T want is for the guys on this forum to tiptoe because there's a girl on the block now. v
