Hi All
I have just completed the adaption of a 356 ZF steering box to my Vintage Speedster, sucessfully, I might add. The work involved is, however not for the feint of heart. A number of problems had to be overcome. The major problem being the modification of and the attachment of the VW pitmanm arm to the shaft of the ZF box. The final result was worth all of the effort. The jerky steering from the TRW box has been eliminated, most likely due to the progressive steering incorporated in the ZF box. If anybody is interested in the details of the conversion, let me know.
