I was over at one of the local Lowe's the past couple of days and they have a whole bunch of Kobalt tools sitting out in the aisle with 50% off (and sometimes more) clearance stickers on them. Got a whole lot of replacement and "gee, I gotta have that" tools for really short money. Wrenches, sockets, ratchets, extensions (including the "wobble" extensions) saws drill bits of all kinds and a whole lot more. Also saw some power tools like demo models of DeWalt, Makita and others, mostly hand drills but there may be others, too, and they seem to be bringing more out daily (including a few wet saws for tile for super-short money).
This may be a transition from Kobalt to Craftsman (which Lowe's now carries, along with K-Mart) - I don't know, but the prices are really hard to pass up.
Check them out!
