WoW! Is all I can say. What a great turn out. The drive was long and hot but great!! It was a site to see almost a mile long row of classic Porsches going down the road. Thanks to all that made it out and to all of our new friends we got to meet.
We had well over 20 Speedsters and 6 real 356 coupes! And one stunning 550 THANKS MUPHY!
3 Classic buses and 4VW bugs. Nice to see them support or run.

Howdy all here are my pics of the cruise.

I was wondering if this could be our west coast meeting spot next year? Any thoughts?

David, 2 drinks cost me 20.00, a room 3-400 a night....
need I say more......

If success is measured by number of cars....We hit the jackpot,
But we lost a few cars, which is not good, and we had one hell of a time keeping a mile of cars together.....took lots of extra time which forced us to shorten the route, which was fine.....
I think everyone had a good day....

I learned, in the future to be better prepared, walkie talkies front and rear,(we actually had them but we lost the rear guy)....shorter runs, with a return trip would also be nice. We'll get the hang of this eventually.... give input as to what you think so we can improve these things for everyone..

Winefor2, thanks for joining us and if you want to plan something more local, pick a date, create a thread and lets party.......

Kevin M will be posting the 2nd Annual Wine run shortly, probably latter part of June...behind Santa Barbara as last year.......
so be looking out for the date, which is negotable at this time..

The "run" was great. We got lot's of Hoots, Hollers, & Horns! We even had several "NEW" Porsches pull into the Chevron to oggle, one even accompanied us to the DEL!

George and I want to thank everyone for welcoming us into the group...We had a wonderful time and I was sad to see Kevin and Vince and his wife continue on the fwy while we were getting off...I knew then it was over....(for the day)

We will be doing something soon I hope, something local so we can all party again. Waiting another year would just be too long..

Thanks,...I tried to take lots of pics for the group.
Posting them on msn is easy.. Just go to Msn.com then you'll need to get a "passport" (e-mail) account.

Once you do that, go to the groups home page (under people and chat)and it will say "creat a new group"... Give it a name then up-load your pics there.

Glad you liked them...I'm all for the winery run. I'm sure your wife and I can talk more then...

Karon, thanks for the info.....The wine run should be a little more relaxed than this last weekend.....and fewer cars....should give us a chance to visit a little easier, looking forward to it...
