Potential new buyer....test ride in San Diego? | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

Hello all,

I am seriously considering a vehicle purchase....perhaps a new Speedster from Thunder Ranch here in Southern Cal. Are there any speedster owners in the San Diego area willing to let me sit in their car and maybe ride shotgun for a short spin? I cannot justify dropping $30-40k on one of these cars if I have never actually sat in one or ridden in one. I have toured the JPS and Thunder Ranch facilities, I have read this forum and started my research, etc. I would be selling my 2004 Mini Cooper S to make room for a speedster.

Anyone willing to help me out, maybe meet for a quick coffee some day soon? Since Thunder Ranch is local, there has to be someone local to me here in Pacific Beach? Thanks much. Greg
