Now THAT'S a subject line!

Getting ready to prime (finally). The rest of the car is done but now I stand in front of the CMC trunk that has a puckered texture. WTF do you do to prep that for adhesion? You really can't get into the nooks and crannys. Do the surface, wipe the surface with solvent and hope for the best?

So you're painting the inside of the trunk - the pebble textured fiberglass? I'd use a good degreaser to remove any mold wax then use a red or green Scotchbrite pad the degloss it for good paint adhesion.

Yes. Since I'm priming the rest I figured I'd do it all and then used the gray/black spackle paint in the trunk.

Scotch Brite. WTF didn't I think of that? Thanks!!!
