Did I say "a mill"? There's at least 2 (3 if you count the end mill I think I saw on my phone screen) and a metal lathe. James has his own machine shop in there!
Wow.
Great car and....what a shop!
Hey James, do you have an extra set of those deck lid hinges?

No, I don't. Sorry. @Tom Lampman
Looks like James took the standard cast aluminum hinges and drilled lightening holes. He drilled just enough for a racy appearance without jeopardizing strength. Original 356 hinges were steel and had lightening holds too.

Could you please tell me where you sourced the Carrera louvered decklid. Thanks!

I bought the louvered skin from Carey at Beck Speedsters. I seperated the old skin from my deck lid and bonded the new one. Carey Is a great source for parts!
Thanks mate! Can't wait to see your car finished!

A friend in my town, Charlie, has been building very-high-buck Hot Rods for decades, now. He builds a car that, when you see it, the detail blows you away....You can circle it a few times and each lap shows you something else to make you say, Wow!
That's what I get looking at your pictures. I should get over that it is a CMC - They made good bodies, too, but the level of detail you have thoughtfully taken yours to has to be commended.
A Tip of Gordon's Hat to ya! That is a beautiful car!
