Progress on my Merlot

Next up adding Repro Marchal driving lights, tonneau, and perhaps a few more improvements before the trip.

Talbots are real vintage mirrors from the 50's -60's with the green dot signature. Had them since my first Beck. They had some minor dents, but I was able to work them out so they can hardly be seen. I think they look great.

My Merlot was pretty bone stock.

Not great pics, but a few adds in anticipation of Carlisle next month. Vintage Talbot Berlin Mirrors, Nipple hubcaps, Porsche emblems & badges, 12v accessory outlet, LED upgrades, 3rd brakelight behind grill and aux signals on my badge bar.

Not sure if I like those arrow signals, but we'll see. So far not very bright compared to other LEDs.

How do you plan to mount the Marschals? I'd like to add a set before Carlisle myself.

ya - cool idea on the rear signals. no mistaking them.

I like those original green dot Talbots. Great accessories for 50s and 60s era sports cars, and hard to come by these days.

I have some original Walpress bullet mirrors that I will use on my other car eventually.

Marchals just arrived. Found a great deal on eBay - $199 for the PAIR (new repros). Very nice too. I'm probably mounting them directly on the bumper as I did on my previous car.

Arrow turn signals are not working very well. Not bright at all. Trying to come up with a fix. They were originally for use on side mirrors. I hope I can come up with a fix. I think they are cool.
