Brought a CMC project #31 with the help of Lane Anderson.

To date it now has a fresh motor from "Strictly Foreign" with new Solex carbs, new clutch and brakes.

Still need to replace the windshield, minor interior fixes...need a new fuel tank and lines, battery, top and 1/4 boot, tail lights, side trim, P' crest wheel covers, VS luggage rack, paint touch ups etc.

The plan is to get it done for Carlisle but a 5 week time frame time is on the short side. We may... end up dragging it there with a tow bar and also bring our recently purchased 328xi Bimmer.

Musbjim .....I am lookiing for my cape :~)

Side trip to Campbelltown PA for a VW show this AM then Connie and I scooted over to Chuck Martin's, Chuck handed me the keys and let me drive his blue VS Speedy..what a nice sorted car ( I did sell it to him :~)

I also drove Maggie's JPS coupe for the first time I have to say... this JPS ride is the bomb, it drives and handles great and the car is assembled in a craftsman like manner ...!

Got back home and set up the went over the carbs I installed late last night. Some fresh gas ,turned the key and it kicked right off, stuck the wheels back on and headed out for a few laps around the block....very pleased!

Clutch and brake adjustment and install the top tomorrow....... ~Alan
