This CMC arrived a couple of months ago from Ohio with a completed all new rolling chassis,  I'm assembling the rest of Speedster over the next couple of months for Anthony. Porsche 5711 a darker orange paint, the Glasurit formula was hard to locate as Porsche only did 28 Speedsters in this color. This one was painted by a higher end paint shop here in WV the same shop that did Paul Luze's Speedster for me a few years ago. I dry fitted most components then blew it back apart, it's been at the body shop for 6 weeks I'll pick it up next week. It will have an all black interior, Beck VDO GPS gauge set, Nardi style steering wheel, a dressed 1641cc engine ,w/ external oil cooler, Stay Fast top Much  more to follow as I assemble the speedster through January.

I received a deposit yesterday on the Covin. It appears to be sold if the balance of the price is paid next week.

I was just looking at your ad last night thinking how cool it would look with the tea-table removed and painted in the orange that Alan used for the Speedster he's building.

A WRX engine and some sort of improvement to the front end, and this would be a very fun car.

GLWTS.

I though I'd share a few additional pics before I delivered it to Alan this September.  It's a 1970 IRS chassis and I replaced and rebuilt everything with new components, including new Koni shock on all 4 corners.  The CMC was abandoned shortly after it was purchased new and kept in a garage until I bought in in 2022.  My father and I always loved speedsters and wanted this one to be a little different, thus the reason for the 5711 orange.  Unfortunately, my father passed away last year and this was the last car that he and I would build together.  Well, life got in the way and I reached out to Alan for some assistance on this one.  As you all know, Alan is a wonderful person, but also the only guy that I'd want to help me finish this car! I can't wait to see how it turns out and know it will be something special!speedster chassis 1speedster chassis 2speedster chassis 3speedster chassis 4speedster chassis 7speedster bfam 2speedster bfam
