Hopefully you guys aren't tired of me hogging up space here with what I think are neat pictures of this crate. These are mostly detail-oriented shots to explain how stuff got done this week. Many of these are already old news on the car, but they're in fine-tuning stages prepping for the big event next weekend. I'll be laying low for the next two or three days while I cut tin.

Thanks for humoring me. There are a half-dozen other new ones in the folder.

I ain't reneging*, Lane. I'll push you around and make BRRRRRMMMMM noises in exchange for a ride in your WORKING specimen. At least you'll be able to steer now!
And as for worthiness, I'm just lucky as heck to be working with a true genius! I don't know if there's anything about this stuff that Jimmy doesn't know from rote memory. It's really impressive to work alongside this dude day in and day out. This car would have hit the bricks loooong ago if it was up to my technical skill to get it done.
Thanks, though. I'm still going to push you around the paddock at least once. It'll be fun. Bring a camera.

(* I had to use dictionary.com for the spelling.) :
Wouldn't these make neat fog /driving lamp "grills"?

Just pull the outer grates/grills off fo the horns, replace the center aluminum horn ident. plaque with a "Hella" decal, and mount to the body, inside of that cardboard (soon to be metal/fiberglass) recess.

If you can't afford the genuine Porsche item, those horns are exactly the same as the high/low Ghia horns . . . . of which I have an abundance.

Oh, and you HAVE to pony up the $ and grab these mirrors! Too cool to pass up . . . inspite of the price. It'll only hurt for a while, and you have 'em forever.
