I'm putting these up out of habit more than anything else. The transmission, axle tubes, drop spindles, brakes, wheels, tires and dash panel are still on the car. So are the door sills.
The dash and sills will require drilling, and I didn't want to fight with the compressor that morning.
It took just under four hours to remove everything from the chassis Wednesday, tagging and labeling each piece as they came off. Monday or Wednesday of next week, the wheels and everything that's left will come off and the frame will go to the powdercoat guy.
I know what you're thinking ... We've heard that before ...
But this time I have a FIRM appointment!

One more, just because it's there. ...
And if I could ask for a favor; does anyone have a chassis shot of a CMC or similar pan setup from this perspective? I never took one when we started the hack-job because the pans were removed before the body was cut up. The body was lifted off in sections.
It'd be pretty neat if I could see what this really started as right next to what it's become.

Thanks, Angela.
Bruce, one day closer to the Wyckoff, NJ cruise.
Jim, I'll be making those commutes in January just to make a point. One of the guys here at the firehouse says I'm retarded if I think I'm going to drive an open car with an aluminum interior in what the Farmer's Almanac says will be a bitter Northern Virginia winter ...

Dude does not realize who he's talking about, apparently!
