I've been wanting one of these for a while and finally pulled the trigger. It's a CMC built in 1991 on a 1971 chassis and running a 2180. I got it from the original owner and it has less than 4K on the odometer. I even have the tonneau cover, folding top and bows that were never taken out of plastic! It's not super high end but really fast and handles like a slot car! Stoked on it!! Initial plans are to remove the roll bar and add headlight stone guards for now at least.

"Welcome to the Madness" Before removing show roll bar - check to see if the tonneau is cut for the roll bar - if it is you'll need a new tonneau once you remove roll bar. Looks like no snaps yet so no one tried to install it yet.

Thanks for the tip! Yeah, my cover is labeled that it's for a roll bar. Figure I'll keep it all together so it can be switched back if I change my mind.
