pulling to the right

my car pulls to the right when i brake hard...in fact, it has done this since day one. is this just a matter of bleeding the system, or is there something else i should be checking as well. for what it's worth, i have dics up front only.

Did you get your car aligned at a shop after you got it? I did with mine when I got it; I don't think Kirk goes through all those details when he gets them out the door. Your problem should be either that or as you suspect, a brake issue.

i got it aligned last summer...it was way out. the pulling issue is definitely noticable under hard braking.

Swap the calipers from side to side and see if it starts pulling to the left. You'll have an answer in just a couple of hours.

Short of the calipers needing rebuilding, it could be the front soft lines beginning to close up. Might be a good time to replace both of them anyway. The repros out of India aren't that good, go for genuine German this time.

I got two of 'em now, but I'm thinking of bailing entirely and putting everything (money and energy) into a Henry J. If I manage to get it, everything's goin' up for sale at a bargain basement price.
