I assume made in Brazil and I don't know if they are available here. Looks like a nice car but not currently recognized on the MAKERS page.
Pretty car - have never heard of factory one in US though. Old Pumas like GTS were really neat cars.

Well I guess i own the only one in the US then. Thanks for sending me some info. It appears as though it came pretty complete back in 1990 and has zero miles on it.Needs finished off.
The car in the picture looks pretty long. Is it like a Perry 550 (with the engine in the rear like a speedster or Beetle) or is it just an optical illusion?
No, its midengine with a 3" tube frame . It appears a lot like a Beck. Was delivered with a new VW engine and transaxle.
Next to it in the pic is a Lafer. Any relation?
Stan, I think it is a combo of the camera angle/focal length and the color.
Does this dress make my a$$ look fat?
Yes Danny..... But just check out mine in the member icon.... Now that is fat....
There are now several sets of molds and splash molds floating around Brazil. This is an obvious copy of our Beck body. The places where we made changes show the same changes on this body.
The taillights and turn signals are our old style, but it has a different license light, added extra lights in the rear, different gauges, different interior.
Much of the other stuff is the same, probably from our old Brazilian parts suppliers. If it has a 3" tube chassis, I'd bet that was copied as well. It would pretty much have to be in order to fit the changes we made to the body.
We've seen only a couple of these particular cars make it to the US, and more recently a few others from various splash molds too.
If it is from the '90s then it would pretty much have to be from the GTE/Amazonas molds. The other molds in Brazil are more recent...
