Congrats on a gorgeous Merklin build! I had to chuckle as I recall you were reluctant to venture to Carlisle with all those Speedster guys! Sounds like it turned out well as you met the infamous builder and a local DC support team! The STIG says most of the East Coast Speedster guys "don't bite cus they lost their teeth years ago"!
What a nice group of people, couldn't have gone better. Was greeted by Maddie, Beck speedster owner when I first arrived and she was very welcoming. Soon after we were under the tent hanging out with the whole group, getting tons of information and advice. Very successful trip!
Welcome to the madness, very nice car. all the best.

Great looking car!
I was wondering how the heck you had it shipped from California back to PA so fast but then I realized you just used Alan's previous photos.
Nice car and welcome to the club.
Alan does great work. You will be happy with it.
Truly happy for you knowing that that the car is coming back east...welcome to the madness !
So glad it all worked out for you! So sorry for Stu not being able to import it.
Nice widebody!
Merklin Magic again... Congrats on pulling the trigger Bobi... it took me 18 months to do it here... East coast is great for folks and insight to the car... West coast... WELL we just mostly DRINK Scotch and smoke cigars at our events! Welcome to the Madness! SEG! :-)
There were some very nice scotches and Irish whiskeys floating around, and a lot cigars were sacrificed every evening. We know how to do that stuff too.
Whoo-hoo!! Sorry I missed you. Welcome to the madness, as we must say, and I believe you will be very happy w/ a little Merklin Magic. Beautiful car. Says East Coast, so where, exactly??
