Try Boats US or West Marine or other boating supply for a momentary contact starter switch. Many older boats with inboards had nice chrome ones. You need a heavy duty one to carry the current.
Look at the www.samba.com under classifieds. The VW split window uses a push button and it looks great.
You didn't say style you're looking for, but you can also try CWMoss in Orange, CA. They sell a '40/41 Ford truck starter button (with a bezel that says "starter").
Thanks for the info guys! Found one on Ebay for a total price with shipping for $10.00, what a good buy. It is a vintage style metal aluminum finish with bezel.
