You can tell who's O.K and who's snooty by reaction.

I got a reproduction eagle and cut out the swastika,then I reduced the Porsche emb. and printed it and cut it out and glued it in the back of the Eagle, its stuck on the dash with "Fun Tack", no holes.

Funny!

The very notion of a "Porsche purist" is kind of amusing. We've all met a few of these snobs.

Last year at a vintage racing event, I had a guy tell me that the last real Porsches were made in 1989. He "couldn't tell the difference" between a 993 and 996, and he "wouldn't walk across the street to look at" my Boxster S.

Of course, he was driving a replica - a replica! - '73 RS.

Apparently, his replica was more "pure" than all those factory cars made after 1989. Not sure where our Spyders would place on his scale.
