Had my first puzzling glitch with my Beck. Just had oil changed and valves adjusted. Car was running great until yesterday. Seemed to be fine . . . Then coming home from work it sort of died as I coasted into the drive. Since I was low on fuel I figured I just got lucky and ran out as I got home. Today I forgot about the fuel and she started right up. I went straight to fill'er up. She only took 7 gallons so fuel could not have been the issue. Then with a full tank, I noticed a strange miss and the tach would jump whenever I had my foot in it. The car died again but started right up once more. The tach continued to jump as the engine would sputter for a second and then recover when I put the pedal down - very intermittent. My guess was something electrical. I went home and checked all the plug wires, the distributer and any electrical connection I could find. I made sure all were tight. Then went for another cruise. Everything seemed perfect. Better than ever. No problems at all. But I don't know what I did or what was the real problem. I'm worried it might still be an issue. Any advise?
