Question about the best exhust.

I have a wide body speedy with monza exhust.So times i get an exhust smell back into the cabin.Nothing bad.(no leaks or anything like that).I just notice when i get to were i am going that i smell a little like exhust.What is the best system that would help take care of this.

First, get under your car on a lift with the engine running. Find out where your exhaust leak is coming from. You should NOT be getting exhaust fumes in the cockpit from out of the tailpipe, it is leaking under the engine somewhere. A simple tightening of bolts may be all that is needed. Next up is a possible blown gasket, black carbon trails will hopefully indicate it's location. Don't be afraid to use your fingers to "feel" blow-by coming out from any joints. Beyond that, any system can be a good system, depending on your intended use of the vehicle. The old Monza system are typically flow limited to smaller engines, say up to 1835 cc.

I'm thinkin it's the vacuum created by the shape of the car.

The draft under the car whips the exhaust up and curls back toward the cabin. This problem is minimized if the tailpipe exit is on the side of the car as compaired to the middle of the rear bumper.

I usually don't get too much exhaust into the passenger compartment unless I drive in reverse more than a couple of miles.
