Questions on MangoSmoothies Build

Wow great build tutorial --- I need the build notes though. I know picture worth a 1000 words. I have few questions on few of the photos that are keeping me awake!

What are the metal flippers either side on the hood hinge brackets? Stops to keep it from opening too far? Or extra firmness?

Whats the Megavolt Lit Jr circuit board for? HID lights? LEDs?

those are mounted to the rear bumper brackets. i added a layer of closed cell foam under them. essentially to reduce vibrations in the fiberglass. they butt up nicely to the underside of the body.
