Quick trip to Maine

Certainly not doing the Europe thing like Stan but we got five days down in Wells Beach, Maine again and the weather couldn't have been better. Lot's of sun and in the '80's. 

Only a 9 hour drive from home down thru Lake Champlain and Vermont into NH then Maine. 

We got up to Biddeford Pool again heading to Portland and took a pic of the car on the same dock we've visited for years. Got out on the ocean again too near the Bush compound at Kennebunkport and took a pic of a small charter boat going by. One more pic of the Roadster outside our motel room. The lobster was great and the car ran just fine....about a 1,100 miles all round. We averaged 26.8 mp US gallon.

Glad you two had a good trip, Dave.  Sorry we could not join you this year.  We ended up doing a short trip on parts of the east coast of Lake Huron, and the north coast of Lake Erie.  Lots of villages and small town, and water side drives.

We had great Autumn top down weather.

It was a farewell trip for my old wheels and tires.  After four summers and thousands of   reliable miles, I figured they deserved one last road trip.  New wheels and tires should be on next week, just in time for winter...
