Quickie cruise in SoCal...

Jim,thanks for the footage, you'll have to show me how to post so i can return the favor. Bruce's wheels look insane, wish we would of taken pictures of the 2' steam we had to go thru to get to the VW gathering. Cabanaboy ~ Quickies can be a good thing!

Gosh I love SoCal... What a great quickie run... You guys continue to rock! Well I just have to say it was a steller day for the Galvan clan too... No Speedie run, but I did my first 5K and both my boys placed in their age groups Dylan 4th at 14 to 16 years old and Brando my youngest took 1st in his first race in 11 to 13 age bracket.. Looking forward to running with you guys soon.. GQ sorry I missed you today.. It's been a while my Brutha from a diff. Motha.. The rest of you guys have a great Thanksgiving this week and make sure your families know who much they mean to you!


Speedster "D" gobble, gobble....

Great time with you boyz! I'm glad I didn't have any mechanical issues, however we did run into nature...a stream at the Crusin' at the Park (El Dorado). We didn't have our cams ready, stupid me! We got our clean speedies wet from lights down. No one drowned ;) I'll post pix when I figure it out. Can't wait til next one! Gabe, hope ur speedie is doing well.

Well, it is easier and cheaper to replace than repair, I have heard.

Enjoyed the videos of you guys on PCH. You got to admit these cars look great, I love the widebody look on them especially. Being in the East Coast it will be a while before we cruise like that. Keep the tops down and the SEG going.

Yeh, I'll probably buy a new one, perhaps a 15-16 gal. still need to do some welding for my return spout. Nice pix Rob!

Thanks Rob, haven't decided yet on 8 1/2 gal or the 15. I've heard the 15 gal willl fit but needs a little shave off the the underside of the hood for the gas cap. Like to see one first.

Bruce - FWIW, there's no way I could stay in my Speedy for the duration of the range with a 15-gal tank! The smaller tank in our Speedy works out well because I need to get out every so often anyway, to get the feeling back in my 'boys' and my legs!!

Plus, I hate to lose even the little storage space available in that trunk (spare tire, tools, spare parts, rags, a decent jack, etc.).

I thought I was the only one with these issues. Yeh, I may jus' stick w/ the 8 1/2.
