I have no standard pricing. For good reason...
EVERYTHING I build is different. Each application is different, driver is different, each car is different and most climates and operating conditions ar different.
I have engines in all 50 states, and atleast one on every continent, except Antarctica. Each of those was built with several factors taken into consideration and none were don in mass quantities, for generic applications.
Due to this, pricing varies as much as everything I have mentioned above, they go hand in hand. Some customers have an existing engine, others don't. If I put prices on my engines, chances are that I would be false advertising to 50% of the inquiring individuals that seek an engine like I produce.
In days past I had prices on the website, then when I would make contact with the customer, take down their data and generate them a quote they would say "The website says so and so and this is higher". When this happened it took 3 days of explanation about why the price was higher than what was stated. Due to this I zapped them all and only make quotes after a very detailed conversation where I gather critical data about the entire engine, car and driver. This is put into a proposal, locked down after initiated and does not change unless extreme factors like crazy shipping inflation, or a manufacturer stops making a part. Generally, 90% of the time all our options and standards are stated in the proposal and nothing changes, and neither does the price in the end. This way everyone knows where we stand and what is their responsibility, and even how long the project will take. I refuse to lure guys in and then jack up the price on the invoice.
Doing business this way is very demanding on me, but I HATE issues, and hate misunderstandings so much I'll go as far as needed to prevent them..
Long story short, email info@aircooledtechnology.com and have Kathy set you up with a 30 minute phone session with me. I do them on wednesday afternoon/evenings from 5PM till 1Am, so no matter what time zone you are in we have a good chance of hooking up.
Many more answers about my ordering steps can be found at my website under "Ordering" It gores into depth about the entire process. I look forward to chatting with you in the near future about a precisely built engine for your vehicle. Keep in mind our current backlog is 6 months, 3 weeks and that we are working from our "wait list" that is explained on the ordering page I mentioned previously.
