RAT

I came across this site from Raby Aircooled Technologies. I, being new to Speedsters and T1 VWs, is anyone out there familiar with them/him? DTM?

Jake at RAT checks the board on occasion and even posts sometimes. There are several guys on this board who have purchased Tiv and T-1 engines from him.

Jake's Great engine builder and a straight shooter.He is really intune with the T4 engines. I have a RAT 2270 cc with the DTM in my project flareside. It was well worth the $$$

What type of speed do you get from your 2270cc? T4 or T1? I'm not sure which way to go, which is better or are they just different, one easier to work on.

Is there some chart or equation I can use to equate HP/RPM/Weight/efficiency into MPH estimate?

I have emailed RAT to schedule a phone call with Jake. I would like to know what price range I'm looking at. I know you get what you pay for, however I want to be somewhat sure its in my ballpark.
